So what is Foam Wars ?
"Foam Wars" is a form of gaming which allows for the inexpensive creation of game counters using foam board and a laserjet or deskjet printer to produce graphics or icons, as well as game data and stats, which is glued on to the foam board. The form board acts like bases would in miniature wargaming.
No need to paint large numbers of miniatures to get involved or to learn the rules.
Modelled after the "System 7" format, excepting the counters are a bit easier to manipulate and cheaper to produce.
Current games being used are Song of Blade & Heroes (SoBH), Horde of the Things (HotT,) and De Bellis Antiquitatis (DBA) and the DB/X or DB/HX series of rules.
